Your boat for the day is a 28' Blue Wave bay boat, equipped with state-of-the-art navigational electronics, tackle, and safety gear. This is exactly the boat you want when fishing in shallow waters, with a casting platform and wireless trolling motor to put you on your target without being detected. She accommodates up to 4 guests and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time.
Your target species will include inshore A-listers, such as Jack Crevalle, Permit, Bonefish, Tarpon, Goliath Grouper, and snappers. Capt. Alex also takes his clients into nearshore waters to target the likes of Cobia, Kingfish, Barracuda, and Horse-eye Jack.
Various Snapper species are also on the menu, including Yellowtail, Mutton, and Mangrove Snapper. In short, these waters are teeming with a variety of fish, so you'll have your fair shot at reeling in some pretty cool species.
Capt. Alex specializes in fly fishing and spinning on light tackle. He provides top-quality Penn rods and reels. Your fishing license is also included, so just arrive 10 minutes before the departure time, and you're all set.

Caught limit of Mangrove Snapper. Hooked several barracuda but did not land.VERY FUN FISHING. Captain Alex was terrific.

The captain knows where the fish are. Whether your a catch and pic then release fisher person or on a meat hunt, this is your Captain. Not only did he put us on the fish, he went out of his way to make our day super memorable. Whether your a novice or a pro, he's got your back. The vessel is top notch and if the weather is right he will take you to a honey hole and move five feet after the initial anchor point to get right on the bite. Sit in the back jump seat for a smooth ride, sunscreen up and listen. Relax and let the cap do what he does! Going to book this charter every time I'm in the keys...I'm going to fly him down to Texas and let him cap our family catamaran...I am a cap myself and this guy knows what he's doing! BET!
My mom, sister, and I had an amazing day fishing with Captain Alex and Salt Creek Fishing! We started early to have the best chance at catching large tarpon, and that did not disappoint. We caught 2 before the sun came up! We caught a variety of other fish to include a yellow Jack that we were able to take to a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch. We ended the trip reeling in two lemon sharks. Captain Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great trip!
