Chasing Tailz Charters welcomes you to Rio Hondo, Texas and invites you on a pleasant and fun fishing trip in the Lower Laguna Madre. Captain Dan Guerra will be there to show you the best spots for fishing and do everything in his might to make your trip enjoyable and worth remembering. Join him on the inshore waters and flats of Rio Hondo and have a lovely stay on the water!
You will use a 22' Dargel flats boat that runs on a 200 HP Suzuki engine and can accommodate up to 5 guests. Apart from all the modern navigation technology the boat has got a wireless trolling motor, spearfishing gear, a livewell, as well as a multimedia system and an ice-box.
You can target Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Redfish, and Black Drum. Using both light and heavy tackle, you can attract them by popping and drift fishing. You can keep and take home all the fish you catch if you want to, but keep in mind that the captain offers a discount for releasing your catch. Kids are more than welcome to join the trip, but those under 17 will have to wear life jackets.
Captain Dan will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures and will also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Before you leave, just make sure you have packed your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.

Went out for a morning fishing trip and had a great time. Captain Dan is very knowledgeable of the bay areas and knows where the fish are. Very helpful with fishing techniques and shows you how to fish for the fish you will be targeting for the day. Boat and equipment is very well kept and in excellent condition..
