It all starts with a reliable boat. You'll be fishing on a 26' Van Diaz vessel that accommodates up to 4 guests. Once you start reeling in the fish, you'll realize why the capacity is limited - the catch takes up the most of the space. The boat is powered by a 150 HP Honda engine and features the latest navigational electronics, a live bait tank, downriggers for trolling, and a toilet. You'll easily reach far offshore spots and wait for the battle to begin.

Fomos muito específicos quanto ao que queríamos pescar e o capitão Carlos, com os seus 26 anos de experiência, certamente nos levou até aos peixes que procurávamos. Fez tudo o que estava ao seu alcance para nos acomodar. O seu barco era muito confortável e funcional. Queríamos simplesmente fazer pesca de fundo para poder levar para casa garoupa, pargo, peixe-porco e atum. Ele fez tudo isso acontecer e ainda levámos para casa até seríola. Proporcionou-nos uma experiência de pesca excecional e devo revelar que sou meio proprietário de uma embarcação de pesca de achigã lá em baixo em Honduras, por isso sou muito exigente. Recomendo-o com a minha mais alta consideração!
Acabei por sair com dois rapazes novos, fui em busca de Cavala-da-Índia mas eles não estavam equipados para isso. A pescar com ballyhoo sem anzol, poucas hipóteses de sucesso.
Obrigado Robert, simplesmente não pude pescar consigo porque me senti mal neste período, foi tudo por causa da covid-19 que me impediu de ir. Posso dizer que da próxima vez posso ser o seu capitão. A boa coisa da pesca é que nunca se sabe — não apanhou Cavala-da-Índia mas apanhou um belo Dourado-do-mar e Sardinis, obrigado mais uma vez amigo!!!
