Big Butt Charters invites you to visit Homer, Alaska and spend a day in the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World. Our Captain's are here to take you nearshore and offshore on a fishing trip you won't forget. The captain is an expert angler and will know exactly how to put you on the fish and make your trip as enjoyable as possible. Join him aboard, have fun catching fish, and enjoy Alaska's beautiful scenery and wildlife!
Your boat for the day will be a 29' Raider sport fishing boat that can fit up to 6 guests. Running on twin 300 HP Yamaha engines and rigged with extensive and modern navigation technology, it will take you to your fishing spots in no time. The boat is equipped with downriggers and has got a flushing toilet you can use.
You and the captain will be fishing on heavy tackle for Rockfish, Black Rockfish, Halibut, Lingcod, Halibut, and Chinook Salmon. The techniques you can use are bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, trolling, as well as jigging. The fish you catch is yours to take home.
Our Captains provide you with all the fishing rods, reels, and tackle, and will also provide free catch cleaning and filleting. He invites you to bring your whole family and have a lovely day on the water. Before you come aboard, just make sure to have some snacks, drinks, bait, and your fishing licenses.

Went out with Justin over 2 days with 2 adults and a 10 year old. We had horrible seas the first day and he did absolutely everything he could to try and get us into fish but it was just too rough to fish safely. This turned into fishing some smaller bays and an unplanned tour of Seldovia to wait out the weather. Second day with good weather we all limited out. It was a great trip, and he will take good care of you.
Set up a charter to take while we were visiting our son stationed in Alaska. We had a great time. Justin and Sienna put us on fish, took care of the filleting and helped set up processing. A trip we will never forget. Highly Recommend.
We fished for halibut and had an absolute blast! We all caught our limits with many thrown back. Ship was very nice. Smooth waters. Great captain and equipment. Would go again tomorrow!

We caught halibut and a few salmon.
Went out on the Booty Call with Chuck. He did a great job. We all caught halibut, rockfish, lingcod, and a couple of king salmon. He worked his tail off for us.
