The quaint community of Beaufort, North Carolina, offers some diverse fishing opportunities in its area. When you swing by, contact FinchastersUSA Charters and they'll provide a fishing trip for you. Whether you want an active adventure, or simply the chance to bag some fresh fish, they'll meet your needs. Captain Jack Jackson will make sure you have a good time while he's showing you around.
You'll be going after your fish aboard a 19' Intruder skiff that can easily accommodate 3 guests per trip. The boat is fitted with a single Suzuki engine that can reach a top speed of 45 knots. You'll be going from one hot spot to another in no time. Also, for a more tactful approach on the flats, the vessel is equipped with a wireless trolling motor and a power pole shallow water anchor.
This charter covers several fishing zones of the area like the local rivers, flats, inshore, and nearshore areas that include reef and wreck locations. With such a wide range of water available, the fish bite throughout the whole year. You may encounter Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Striped Bass, and Sheepshead, just to name a few. If it's a trophy that you're after, North Carolina is home to some of the largest Redfish in the world, but fishing for these giant tackle busters is only available in August and September.
You don't have to worry about the fishing gear and lures, as they are provided with the trip. If you would like to use live bait, let Capt. Jack know and he will catch some during your trip. As for your North Carolina fishing license, the charter's got you covered. The crew gives cool water for refreshments, you can bring snacks and sunscreen. In case you get lucky, you can keep your catch, and the crew will help you clean it. Families with children are welcome.

Captain Jack was absolutely phenomenal on our charter! He is very knowledgeable. He also was very persistent at making sure we were able to catch multiple fish to take home! This experience was fantastic and we will definitely book again! We loved supporting this veteran owned business!!

Captain Jack was Amazing! We booked this trip 90 minutes before it was time to go out… somehow, Jack was ready for us! Easy to find, communicated right before we loaded up to make sure we were comfortable with all the details! The trip was intended to show the boys “how it was done” and provide a little bit of a lesson of patience… it’s called “fishing”, not “catching” right? I can’t say enough about Captain Jack! And, guess what? Dad walked away with the lesson learned on patience! Jack was thoughtful, kind, and geared towards entertaining my two boys even joining in with all of their 6/7 jokes…. Wasn’t stressed when lines would get crossed up, and joined in all of our smack talk once dad finally figured out how to land one! Lol! It was a quantity over quality type of day with regards to the numbers of fish, but the effort made by Captain Jack far exceeded my expectations. In the end, the Quality Experience was worth more than any fish we could’ve caught. My little guy landed the largest, and smallest. My oldest landed the most. And I, with a bruised ego, laughed and smiled watching those two enjoy one heck of a great day! Thanks, Captain Jack! Had a ball!

Our time with Jack Johnson was the highlight of our trip. He is very courteous, personable and precessional. He knows where the fish are and how to catch them. We caught several fish and had a great time. However, we still would’ve had a great time if no fish were caught. The fish was just icing on the cake. We were blessed beyond measure to have spent the time we did with Jack.

My husband and i had a great time with Captain Jack. We went on the 3 hour early evening trip. The wind was a little intense, but he made sure to get us in a good spot to catch some fish worth keeping. Definitely worth the trip!
