The 'High Cotton' is a 31' Gulfstream offshore sportfishing vessel with plenty of room for you and your group to fish and relax in comfort. She is fully air-conditioned and boasts a private head and plenty of room to sit and rest out of the sun. She also has a large flybridge to take in the view in style.
What you target will depend on the trip you choose, with anything from Mackerel to Tuna to delicious Red Snapper on the menu. Whatever you're after, the boat's modern electronics will pinpoint the best spots to catch it. She also has a wide range of quality equipment and a livewell bursting with bait to make sure you catch the best of each species.
The High Cotton crew is very friendly and professional. They are happy to tailor your trip to your skills and interests and love working with beginners and children. Everything from rods and reels to bait and licenses are provided by the boat, and your fish will be cleaned and filleted after your trip. Just bring a big cooler, any food and drink for the day, and plenty of sunscreen.
The customary gratuity for the First Mate is 18~20%.

The thing that impressed us was that he said a prayer before pulling out of the slip at the harbor. My wife and I enjoyed the afternoon fishing with Seth. We were in Destin celebrating our 42nd anniversary and catching some fish and a relaxing time on the water was great for both of us. We got a bunch of Spanish mackerel and a big 25 lb jack cravell gave me a work out. We trolled for Kings but they weren't there. He found them the next day and brought me some filets to take home because the clients didn't want them. He had live bait and lures and we caught fish on both. The boat is stable and comfortable and the gear is good. We'll be back!
Captian Seth had us on the water and catching fish. we caught all our target species and he did help as best he could on the few that got sea sick on the way off shore. the water was rough and did offer to take us back later on but we decided to push on in 10-15 foot waves. he had us on fish all day and made our day with the catch! When we get bwck down we will absolutely book agon with Captain Seth!
captain Seth put us on the fish. only a 6 hour trip, but well worth it! got our limit on Red Snapper, caught a Red Grouper, a few white snapper, amberine, a bunch of vermillion snapper and one hard fighting bonita. Super surprised on a six hour trip. Even through back a few undersized Amberjacks.
Great trip!!! We caught 30 fish in a 4 hour trip. Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Vermillion Snapper, and Cobia. We had a great guide, Captain Seth. He put us on the fish and was great help with anything we needed. Would definitely go out with High Cotton again.
We’ve done a few different fishing charters over the years, this was definitely the best! Captain Seth went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted out of our fishing experience. We came home with 20 fish! We would absolutely book with Seth again in the future.
