Salty Waves' goal is to provide the ultimate Gulf Coast experience from Corpus Christi, Texas. Our Captains are USCG-approved mariners who'll take you nearshore as well as offshore to help you land a big catch and have a great day on the water. Come aboard our newest boat in the fleet 'Miss Renee' and have a comfortable and fun fishing trip in Texas!
Your boat's 30ft Key West and can sit up to 6 guests comfortably, runs on a twin 250 HP Yamaha engines, for navigation, she uses Garmin - GPS, Fishfinder, and has a VHF radio. The boat features an FM radio, Bluetooth system, Live-well and an icebox.
You'll go after Blackfin Tuna, Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, and many more prized species. The techniques for catching them include bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, and trolling, all on heavy tackle. You're welcome to bring kids on your trip and you can keep all the fish you catch if you want to.
Salty Waves will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as bottled water, if available - live bait as well. Just make sure you pack fishing licenses, snacks, sunscreen, and Dramamine. Coolers are welcome.

The weather was not in our favor and nothing anyone could do about that. We traveled for hours for only a short time fishing because the water was so rough. I wish we would have changed our plans to inshore fishing instead when we saw how long it would take us to get to the fishing holes that Capt. Mike had selected. He tried his very best to get us on the most fish we could get. 5 stars for trying! Unfortunately it was four in our group, their first trip out sea fishing and a few of them will never go again because it was so rough.

unfortunately the boat was inoperable for the day we had planned. However, Mike was great and did all the leg work to get us set up with another boat and Captain. He made sure we still had a great time. I feel comfortable booking with him again. I know he will do what he needs to to ensure a good trip. Thanks Mike, your friend was great and we had a blast.

I was new to the experience with my daughter and her more experienced fiancé. Captain Mike and crew taught me a lot and practically guaranteed we were coming back with a full catch. We traveled from spot to spot to make sure we found our full allotment. Super comfortable and great day! What?! At the end, they cleaned and filleted the fish for us! Going above and beyond! Totally recommend

It was a pleasure to have Captain Mike guide us doing the day. He is an excellent captain and mate. He took care of everything. Captain Mike is more concerned about catching fish than watching the clock. This will NOT be our only trip with him. We will be back. Thank you Captain MIKE !!!
