The captain's 25' 2017 Parker Pilothouse XLD 2520 can sit up to 3 anglers and will provide a comfortable ride to the fish. The boat is in pristine condition and has a cabin, bathroom, and bed. It runs on a 300 HP Yamaha engine and uses comprehensive navigation technology to keep you on the course all the time. The boat's also equipped with a fighting chair and livewell.
You and the captain will mainly fish near the Montauk lighthouse and target all inshore species in season. Some of them include Black Seabass, Scup, Bonito, Little Tunny, Flounder, and Bluefish. To attract them, you can bottom and deep sea fish, spin, jig, pop, and fly fish. The captain promotes catch and release but is happy to filet fish if you'd like to take some home. Kids are welcome to join in and there can be no smoking during the trip.
The captain provides all the gear as well as snacks and water, so you should only bring any drinks you want.

We had a brilliant experience with Captain Mike on his boat, the Trophy Hunter. He went above and beyond to bring us to numerous locations to ensure we caught and we did!! Captain Mike showed us many different ways to fish and used his many years of experience to improve our techniques. We will definitely go on a charter with him again. Captain Mike is a true gentleman and professional.
Great time out with Captain Mike. super professional and knowledgeable. He was great helping my two young sons and we caught plenty fish. I look forward to chartering with him on our next Montauk trip.
Excellent charter with Captain Mike on the Trophy Hunter. We bounced around Montauk Point to a few of his 'special spots' where we caught stripers, fluke, sea bass, and porgies. Capt. Mike took care of everything. The ship was spacious, the ride was comfortable, and the captain very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the experience!
