Sea Baby III 

great service and great fishing !! caught a marlin!! such a memorable moment.

For starters, I’m not a fisherman but I wanted to give a great fishing experience to my kid which is what my dad did for me in Kona over 25 years ago. I held off on booking till the last day due to weather considerations. But when it showed that the weather was going to be great, we booked through this app. The app made it very easy to book and the owner and crew of the Sea Baby III were very responsive through the app. Within an hour of requesting, I was communicating messages and confirming our booking for the next day. They provided clear instructions on how to find the boat and the cost. Well, we trolled for marlin for 3 hours on a 1/2 day adventure without any bites. Captain Nate and first mate, Lincoln, sensing that we just wanted to catch fish and make memories asked us if we’d like to spend the next hour hauling in small yellow tuna. Of course, we said yes and within 20 minutes, we pulled in the trolling lines and were pulling in yellow fin tuna like crazy. We got our fishing memories. But wait, there is more. While we were driving ashore, we put the trolling lines back out and lo and behold a marlin took to hook. I put the kid in the seat and he made the catch of his life by hauling in a small marlin which we released. The crew extended our charter and made that catch happen and we are thankful for the experience. Thank you, Captain Nate and Lincoln. What a great day!

Went out for a 6 hour early morning trip and Captain Jeff and First mate Kaiah sure worked hard to get us some excitement happening! Two early strikes that eventually peeled off and kicked the hook got us all set for the day. Slowed down a bit as the rain and clouds danced across the sky but the crew never stopped trying. After a short delay due to a pod of whales we just had to stop and watch, we were right back at it and into a large school of tuna. They showed off their prowess and communication skills by piloting the boat and the hooks in perfect unison and hooking a very wonderful tuna. Jeff knows lots about the island and the waters, and Kaiah shows off his love for the craft effortlessly. He was happier for us to catch fish than we were. Highly recommend.

Half day was spent with an awesome crew and successful fishing! Two hours in we caught a 600+ lbs Blue Marlin and about an hour after that we caught a 30lb Mahi Mahi. Nate and Ryan really knew what they were doing and made the experience one we'll never forgot. They are 100% the reason we had the success we did. We got to keep some of the Mahi Mahi and made some dang good fish tacos! Definitely coming back again and recommending The Sea Baby III and crew to everyone we know who is wanting to fish on the Big Island. What a day!
