The Salty Hooker Fishing Charters welcomes you aboard! Join in for a fun-filled day on the water and experience a true fishing adventure in Murrells Inlet, SC. A friendly and experienced crew will take you out and attend to your fishing needs. Pick a day and embark on a journey on the rich waters of Murrells Inlet!
You'll fish from a 34' SeaVee center console that can seat up to 6 guests. It's powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and equipped with outriggers and downriggers. For navigation, it uses all the modern and comprehensive technology, including 2 Garmins, to help you have a safe and quick trip to the fish and back. The boat features 3 large fish boxes, a drink cooler, comfy bean bag chairs, and an in-deck Livewell.
The species you can target include various types of Shark, King Mackerel, Black Sea Bass, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Cobia, and everything in between. Take your pick between light tackle inshore trips or heavy tackle offshore trips. All fish caught will be cleaned and bagged free of charge.
Your captain will provide you with all the tackle, bait, and fishing licenses. Just bring a smile and whatever you would like to eat or drink. We have a cooler available for your drinks if needed. Children are welcome, so feel free to make it a family trip!
We kindly ask that each booking bring only one vehicle. The marina has a strict one car per charter policy, and we want to make sure there's room for everyone. Thanks so much for understanding!

Capt Austin and Jack worked hard to put us on the fish and we had a blast. We had fish on before all the lines were even in the water. Great boat as well. My son and I totally enjoyed our time fishing on this trip. Thanks.

Captain Austin gave me a preliminary call the day before to talk about the fishing game plan. Met at the dock on time, and left early. He was the perfect balance between playing great music, talking, and helping keeping the lines in the water. He put us on fish almost immediately, and was great in targeting the fish. Very friendly, professional, and safe. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do some fishing off Murrell's Inlet.
Austin was an excellent captain! My husband and son have been deep sea fishing multiple times. This time myself, 2 daughters and my nephew went with them. Turns out, all of us but my husband gets sea sick. Austin never made us feel like an inconvenience and helped all of us any way he could! My husband had a wonderful time fishing. He caught cobia and lots of sea bass. Austin was wonderful about keeping bait on our hooks and made sure to keep us where the fish were biting. We would recommend Austin with Salty Hooker charters a million times over. We will definitely be looking him up again when we're back in Murrells inlet!
