If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Mitzi B Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Roger can tell you all about the local fishery. With over 40 years of combined experience, between the captain and the first mate, you will enjoy your trip.
The fish in these waters include Spanish Mackerel, Catfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and more with any luck. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 35' Bertram sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. All of their rods are custom Steve Fogle rods with Okuma reels. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I booked this trip for my husband from my son and I. Captain Roger and Mr. Joe (the mate) were PHENOMENAL!!! They EXCEEDED all of my expectations and I have HIGH expectations lol. They are genuinely great people. They made sure we were comfortable, taken care of, and they worked to make sure we caught fish! Now, I am from a family where you understand that fishing is an experience and that it does not always result in a catch. I would have been OVERJOYED without catching fish because that is how AWESOME they are. Captain Roger was amazing with our son, and Mr. Joe, encouraging him as he caught fish. Also, my husband caught fish as well and we had so much fun as a family❤️. The conversation was great. We will DEFINITELY be back, and if you are thinking about booking…JUST DO IT. My sons and I spent the day with Captain Roger and his first mate Joe. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and personable. Captain Roger worked tirelessly to make sure we caught our Rockfish limit. He reached out to other Captains in the area to get intel on the best spots for us to fish for the day. We finished the day with some skeet shooting on the water after catching our limit. We had a lot of fun and made some great memories. If you're looking to fish the Chesapeake Bay, book the Mitzi B with Captain Roger.

I had an incredible sea fishing experience thanks to Caption Roger and the team. They were friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about fishing techniques and local waters. From explaining how to set up the gear to giving tips on reeling in the catch, they made the trip enjoyable for everyone, no matter their skill level. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they created a relaxed yet exciting atmosphere on board. We caught several fish and learned so much along the way. Captain and first mate provided an awesome experience for myself and family members on a guys trip! It was a beautiful day on the water and we are catching fish left and right. They added bonus of skeet shooting, made the trip even that much more memorable.

Captain Roger and First Mate Joe were great! They worked hard and put their expertise to use to ensure we caught fish. We ended up with a nice size haul of Rockfish. They took the time to teach us technique as well. They were also great coaching my 13yo son. Everything was very convenient and went very smooth. It was a great day and we definitely recommend their charter.
