Looking to cast a line or Spearfish in Caye Caulker? Then The Spearfishing Shack has a trip with your name on it! With Captain Jacob at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Hogfish, Mutton Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Black Grouper, Great Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, Goliath Grouper, Horse-eye Jack, Jack Crevalle, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On these trips, you can expect to. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
You'll be spincasting, spearfishing and snorkeling from a 26' Argos panga that can carry up to 8 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods and reels/ Spearguns/ snorkeling equipment are included . Ask the captain about bringing your own stuff.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be fruits and waters provided for you on board.

O Jacob gere um negócio excelente - flexível, experiente, seguro e divertido. O Jacob ajustou o itinerário às nossas necessidades e deu-nos uma visita privilegiada à ilha e ao seu ecossistema antes da pesca. Todo o equipamento era de primeira qualidade, e ele explicou pacientemente como usar as espingardas de pesca submarina, mostrou-nos as espécies de peixe que íamos caçar, e deu-nos tempo para praticar antes de partirmos à caça. Nessa noite fizemos uma festa de peixe num restaurante local que concordou em cozinhar a nossa apanha. Uma viagem excelente, A++. Obrigado, Jake!
O Capitão Jacob e o Walter foram excelentes. Dedicaram o seu tempo a ensinar-nos sobre o equipamento, as espécies em busca de capturar e conheciam os melhores pontos onde se encontravam as várias espécies. Acho que ao todo apanhámos seis tipos diferentes de peixes e foi uma experiência fantástica. Ainda limparam o que guardámos e sugeriram restaurantes locais para o preparar. Recomendo-os a qualquer pessoa e com certeza voltarei a juntar-me à tripulação no futuro. 5 em 5 em tudo!
O capitão e a tripulação eram extremamente experientes e simpáticos, recomendo vivamente escolhê-los se estiver a ficar em Caye Caulker !!!
