Even Keel Fishing 

We had an excellent experience booking our fishing trip through FishingBooker. The entire process was easy and straightforward, with plenty of information about the captains and trips to help me choose the right one. Everything was exactly as advertised, and communication was smooth from start to finish. Captain Jesse was professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure we had a successful and enjoyable day on the water. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and we caught plenty of fish while making some great memories. We were having such a great time that we went over our time limit and he never worried about the time. He genuinely was more concerned in us having fun. Because I know this guy and I felt like he could put my on fish I took a chance on the newest Captain in my circle of friends and boy did that work out! Jesse had everything I needed to tear it up while vacationing in Savannah. We got lucky and had good weather, good bites and lots of fun catching up. I’d never caught sheepshead and said as much…so he showed me the way. We tore up those little arm-wrestlers and caught plenty of other fish before and after the sheep show. Can’t recommend him enough. Book with confidence. To be fair, I’ve known him for more than 30 years but I’m certain he’d make a strangers fishing trip just as memorable.

We booked the six hour fishing trip with Even Keel and Captain Jesse and had a wonderful time! It started out with Captain Jesse giving us perfect directions to the dock that we were depart from. When we arrived he was there waiting on us. He had all of the equipment and supplies that we would need for our trip. He described the plan for the day, where would be going (out through Savannah River and fishing around Tybee Island) and the type fish that would be looking for as well as asking us what we most looked forward to on the trip. While navigating to our fishing spots Captain Jesse pointed out the different areas that we were passing, including River Street in Savannah and Fort Pulaski, while also bringing our attention to wildlife such as dolphins and an amazing experience seeing a manatee. When we got to our fishing spot, he gave a tutorial on what type of equipment would be using, including our rod and reels, bait, tackle. Captain Jesse was very professional, knowledgeable and safety conscious. We were able to catch quite a few fish while we were there. We moved to several different spots throughout the trip in effort to locate fish and catch as many as we could. We had such a wonderful time with Captain Jesse and even Keel fishing! The six hours went by so fast I think next time we will book 8 hours! We will definitely book with Even Keel again the next time we are in Savannah!

We have yearly fishing trips to Savannah for the last 10 years . We generally have fun on fishing charters but don’t catch many fish. While on this charter we caught many fish and different species.We all had an awesome time and didn’t want the trip to end. We are looking forward to scheduling next year with Even keel fishing for years to come. Captain Jesse was awesome!
