Captain Lucas gave our family an absolutely incredible fishing trip, and I can't recommend him highly enough. From the moment we got on the boat, he went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time—especially our two kids. He was incredibly attentive to them throughout the trip. When the fishing slowed down, he didn't just wait for the next bite. He kept our 9-year-old daughter completely engaged by showing her the tiny crabs, shrimp, and other sea life living in the seaweed. She was fascinated, and it's something she'll be talking about for a long time. He was also extremely knowledgeable about every fish we caught. Instead of just unhooking them and moving on, he took the time to share interesting facts and little tidbits about each species, turning the trip into a fun learning experience for our kids. It was obvious that he genuinely enjoys teaching and sharing his passion for the water. On top of all that, Captain Lucas was one of the friendliest, most personable captains we've ever met. He made everyone feel welcome, was patient, easy to talk to, and clearly cared about making sure our family had an unforgettable experience. Our Family had an amazing time with Captain Lucas ✨️He is the great person, great with kids, very informative. He took us for a couple places and showed us different tipe of fishing. We had a lor of fun with Lukas and caught many different species. And the highlight of the trip was catching a tuna; for us, it was our first big catch. Thank you again Captain Lukas. We had an awesome experience on our fishing trip. The captain was amazing — super knowledgeable, friendly, and he literally answered every single question we had. Any fish we pulled up, he knew exactly what it was and had something interesting to say about it. You could tell he really knew his stuff and enjoyed sharing it with us. We ended up catching around 10 different types of fish, which was really cool. Unfortunately, most of them were protected so we could only keep a couple, including mahi-mahi, but honestly the whole experience was worth it either way. We even got to see sea turtles, which made the trip even better. Even if you don’t catch a ton of fish, the captain makes the trip fun and memorable. The whole experience was awesome, and I’d definitely recommend booking with him.

I rated the trip a 4 out of 5 only because of the size of the fish we caught. Many were small but all fought hard. We left the dock at 5pm. Capt. Lucas went over the boat and safety issues then asked us if we were targeting anything specific. I mentioned a few species and off we went. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and types of fish we’d encounter. He was quick to respond to lost baits and hooked fish. He was also cautious regarding the wind, waves and our comfort. I hooked a very big fish we unfortunately lost just before I ran out of line!!

We were on fiah all afternoon, we sis some shallow water bottom fishing and then moved inti some dewper water where we got into some good tuna. Capt Lucas turned us onto a local restaurant that cooked the fish we caught. We had a great time and woild definitely recommend this charter.
