Ricky Business Fishing Charters 

🛥️It was the highlight of our trip. Before the fun began, Captain Ricky spotted dolphins and we got to watch a huge school of them. There wasn’t a moment from start to finish without catching something. At one point we had THREE rods bent. We were reeling in to end our adventure when we caught yet another giant stingray! We caught hammerheads, a bonnet head, black tip, sand bar sharks, sting rays, cat fish, whiting, Croker, and a nice size skate. Captain Ricky even made it educational with the kids teaching them about identifying different sharks. We will definitely be booking again 🦈

We had an amazing time fishing with Ricky Perez’s charter! From start to finish, the experience was professional, fun, and well-organized. Ricky worked hard to keep us on the fish, and it definitely paid off. We caught stingrays, sharks, grunts, and whiting, which made for an exciting day on the water with plenty of action. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time fishing, I highly recommend booking a trip with Ricky. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I would definitely book another trip. Five stars!

If you are in the market for a fishing charter, look no further than Ricky Business! I took my 11 year-old son out on a charter with Ricky, and my son now refers to it as one of the top five experiences of his life! I had/have NO expertise or interest in fishing, and Ricky handled literally EVERYTHING. He piloted the boat, baited the lines, and was VERY patient with my son, who absolutely loves nature and fishing. Ricky answered all of my son's questions, all while handling the business end of the trip. All I had to do was sit back and root'em on! I was a little bit trepidatious of the price. On the one hand, it seemed VERY expensive ($325 for two hours). But on the other hand, I have no idea what the current going rates are for 2 hour fishing charters on St. Simons, so for all I know, that may well be totally right in line. I do know that we were booked for a 3pm departure, and we were off and moving by 3pm on the dot (because of the price, I was paying very close attention to the time; I would have been really bummed if we'd spent 25 minutes of the 2 hours getting the boat ready, but that was not the case....Ricky was on it and ready go to. We had lines in the water by 3:15 at the latest). So yea, the only thing that made me even remotely flinch was the price, but like I said, maybe $325 for 2 hours is totally normal. Ricky's boat is clean and comfortable and he was a very adept, confident, competent captain. Would absolutely book with Ricky Business again, and I would encourage anyone to do the same! We had an extraordinary day on the water. Ricky's boat is comfortable, well-equipped and fast. We got to the fishing grounds in under 15 minutes. He had rods and bait ready to go. We caught (and released) over 20 fish - sharks, rays, and a bunch of bait fish - in just three hours. A couple of black tips, a hammerhead, and a beautiful ray were the highlight. Cannot recommend Ricky's enough. Best day out in the water.

Simply stated...Ricky is the best! My 10 year son who happens to be on the autism spectrum had been looking fwd to a shark fishing trip for awhile. We added my 79 year old aunt to the boat last minute and Ricky took it all in stride. He knows the area and which spots to be in for different tides. We had great fun and caught several sharks! SUCCESS in every way!!! Can't wait to do it again.
