Controlled Chaos Fishing Charters focuses on putting their clients on the best fishing and strives to make every charter a fun, memorable event for every guest. Captain James Fenn has been fishing the waters off South Florida for over 30 years and will put you on the fish. They offer everything from family fishing trips to corporate team building events.
The Controlled Chaos is a 35 ft Contender center console boat that can comfortably take up to six guests fishing. This boat is fully rigged for tournament fishing, and you will be able to make use of its outriggers, downriggers, large livewell, and top of the range electronics to see what it feels like to go sportfishing like a pro. Powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines, the boat can reach speeds of up to forty knots, taking you to the best fishing spots in no time at all - not that you will need to head out far, with big game pelagics found within a few short miles of the coast!
Captain James Fenn and his crew are experts in a wide variety of fishing techniques, ranging from kite fishing with light tackle and live bait for Sailfish to trolling for Mahi Mahi, Billfish, and Kingfish, as well as wrestling mighty sharks with heavy tackle and bottom fishing for delicious table fare. Captain James takes pride on tailoring every trip to make sure it is what his clients are after, talking through what you want to catch and how you want to catch it, and recommending how much bait and time you will need - although he is happy to head 20 miles out if that is what you want to do.
All Controlled Chaos Fishing Charters trips come inclusive of tackle, gas, ice, water, sodas, and snacks. Just bring yourself, suitable clothing, and a healthy appetite for a great day of fishing!

James and his first mate Julio were awesome! We caught so many fish! They put us right on top of the action! We reeled in 2 Kingfish and 5 or 6 Bonitos! Our catch of the day was 2 sailfish at one time! We were able to see a shark and dolphins playing as well! This trip was epic! Even without all the fish action it still would have been a great day on the water. These guys are two professional fishermen. Thank Captian James and Julio!

Had an awesome day out with Controlled Chaos! Captain James and Julio were both super friendly, easy to talk to, and worked hard the entire trip to get us on the fish. It didn't take long before I caught my first fish, and by the end of the trip I had landed two king mackerel, several bonitas, and barracudas. It was a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them! Great crew, great experience, and I'll be back for another trip!

After 20+ years of coming to Florida and trying different fishing charters, Controlled Chaos is easily the best we’ve ever been on. James and Julio took amazing care of us, kept the energy high, and clearly knew their stuff. We had nonstop action — including three sailfish a mahi and a big tuna. We’ll recommend them to everyone and will definitely be back.

Great Captain and Mate was on top of everything...and kept the fish coming!! Dolphin..Tuna.. Shark...fun catching Bonito. The boat was spotless, great looking, plenty of room. i cant wait for our next trip. This was a birthday present for my son and at 39 he caught his fish Tuna. he fishes alot and has never caught one and wanted to. Captain James made it happen and memorable!!!

There were times with three fish on the poles, controlled chaos was really what is was… every kind of fish predicted and then some, so worth the $$ James and Julio were amazing and fun, I’ll be booking them again!!
