Milwaukee Offshore Fishing Charters has 4 boats, a 32ft Tiara, 30ft Tiara, Mew 28ft Weldcraft Ocean King and a Dorado center counsel offering the most exciting adventures for Salmon on Lake Michigan, Wisconsin. Fishing out of Milwaukee aboard a custom tournament boat, your arms will be tired and poles will be bending in just a quarter of an hour.
But trolling is not the only technique you will be using on your Lake Michigan fishing charter. Captain Mark and Captain Nick use bottom fishing, as well as light and heavy tackle. When fishing aboard the Offshore414, an outstanding catch is guaranteed.
As soon as the crew yells "Fish on!" and the captain hands you the rod, the fight begins. You will be going for a mighty Great Lake Michigan Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, tasty Coho, and the high-jumping Rainbow Trout.
The packages start from a 3-hour package to a 2 days special trip for the most die-hard anglers. You will be provided with quality gear, tackle, lures, and bait. When you return to the shore, your catch will be cleaned and ready to go home and jump straight into the frying pan. If you want to bring snacks, there is a cooler on board to keep them fresh. You will need to purchase a license prior to the trip and bring appropriate clothes.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. The law states that the legal limit is 5 fish per person. Once we reach the limit, we are obligated to return.
Some trips, such as the 7-hour charters, have flexible start times based on afternoon availability.

We read great reviews and decided to give it a try. Mark reached out the evening before to make sure we didn't have any questions. Communication was great. We had clear directions on where to park and where to find the dock. The boat was great. It was nice and clean and our captain kept it clean throughout the trip. The boat was very comfortable for the 4 of us, including kiddos. Our captain was fantastic. He was lively and entertaining. Very knowledgable and got us on some fish. We landed every bite we got. He was very patient with our 7 and 10 year old. We all felt comfortable and enjoyed our morning out on the water. Left with some big bags of salmon beautifully fileted. He even gave us some of his favorite recipes!
My fiancé and I love fishing and booked a charter with Nick and Mark. We had never been on a charter before, but they called a week before the trip and made sure that all of our questions were answered. Mark went out of his way to tell us what the best times for fishing were and what to expect. Mark and Nick taught us about the lures and rods they use and the fish in Lake Michigan. They never seemed annoyed about all the questions that we asked and were very knowledgeable about fish, Lake Michigan, and Milwaukee. They made us feel like family on the boat and helped us catch 13 fish, including some GIANT brown trout and salmon. We will definitely book with them again!
I don't give five-star ratings to just anyone. Captain Mark and his two-man crew were not only experts at putting us on fish; they made it fun. They are good people, a joy to be with. The crew was incredibly efficient at getting lines in the water and fish on the lines. We booked a six-hour trip, but caught our limit of Coho salmon in half that time. I'm going back later this year when the King Salmon are hungry.
I highly recommend MKE Offshore Fishing llc in all respects! Captain Mark & Captain Dave went above and beyond our expectations to make our trip fun and action packed! Fresh catch dinner for our crew tonight:)
We enjoyed being out on Lake Michigan with Offshore fishing. Captain Mark and his team were fantastic! We caught big fish and hit our limit quickly. We will be returning and would highly recommend.
