Surf Rider Fishing Charters invites you to join Captain Rick Marchetti for a fishing adventure out of Sebastian, FL. Rick has been fishing in these waters since the seventies, so be assured he knows what's what. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or something to do with friends, Rick will do his best to make sure you're having fun on the water.
You'll be fishing aboard a 37' Luhrs that's powered by a 370 HP Luhrs engine. It has a flybridge that gives you a great view of the surroundings, and other amenities such as a toilet (porta potti) are there to ensure your comfort during the trip. There's plenty of room on the boat for up to six people, so don't be afraid to bring the whole family along.
Captain Rick is an offshore fishing specialist and has a variety of packages for you to choose from. If you're itching to go after some big game fish like Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Barracuda, Cobia, and more, you're definitely in luck. You can also do some bottom fishing for the likes of Red and Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, and others if you prefer.
The price of a trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as the required fishing licenses. A 20% tip for the deckhand is customary.
After the trip is over, Captain Rick will clean the catch for your convenience. All that's left for you to do is to bring some drinks and snacks, a pair of polarized sunglasses, and you're all set.

Captain rick and his crew were easy going and down to earth. We didnt catch any of the fish i wanted to catch ( we only did a half day) but he was able to put us on fish so that the kids could have a great time and we did!! highlight of the trip, one of our kids hooked a hammer head shark and rick helped her get the thing surfaced next to the boat so we could get great pictures of it!
Captain Rick and his mate took us about 20 miles offshore where we got hooked up every time we stopped we caught fish some of the biggest trigger Fish we’ve ever seen. And snapper and redfish even got to see some sharks and some dolphins. Highly recommend choosing these guys to fish with down to earth. Nice. And their boat has a lot more room to move around and Fish then a lot of the other charters highly recommend choosing these guys you won’t regret it.
Man we had a blast! 6 people on a full day trip and we were taken care of as if there were only 2 or 3 of us! the ride out was smooth and even through the storm on the way back in we had very smooth sailing! captain rick has some amazing spots and his first mate greg wont let you rest if you dont want too! we had a great day bottom fishing and trolling, got some nice red snapper ( if only fwc would open them up more often ) got some other very nice fish! ( mahi - mackeral - and trigger fish ) would highly recommend this trip! money very well spent !
We had a fantastic time out on the water with Capt. Rick and Greg! From the moment we set off, there was tons of activity — they truly know where to find the fish. They took care of everything; all we had to do was reel them in! We brought home a kingfish and several French grunts, which made for a delicious dinner. Our daughter (11) and our son (14) had an absolute blast. It was a fun, stress-free, and memorable experience — and a great value for the price. Highly recommend this charter!
Prior to the trip I was contacted by Captain Rick to make me aware that the surf was not optimal for our intended offshore half day trip. We changed the itinerary to an inshore trip. Captain Rick and first mate Greg did a great job of putting us on a school of bluefish inshore. The kids had a great time reeling in multiple fish together at one point. Although we didn't catch the species I was hoping for, we walked away with more than enough filets cleaned by Captain Rick to prepare multiple dishes. Everyone had a great day out! I would definitely go out with this crew again!
