  Captain Pat knows his stuff!

  Captain Pat communicatd with me through the app before our trip to advise us of the incoming weather/wind/unfavorable conditions for catching fish and offered to push our trip out later in the week when it improved. We were leaving for Orlando the next morning and didnt have the option to reachedule and our 8 year old was upset with the idea of canceling all together, so we proceeded to go out despite the conditions even if it was a bust. We thought "worst case scenario we go out, get beat up by waves, get sea sick, don't catch anything, come in early, and get a partial refund," but we had to atleast try. As we got further from the marina, the wind shifted in our favor and the water began to clean up, so Captain Pat rigged the rods up with bait and tossed the lines in. We trolled for a bit and then one of our lines got a hit. It was looking promising to get my 8 year old atleast 1 fish on the line and in the boat. Not a minute later one of the other rods bent over with a fish on. Soon we had a good sized barricuda in the cooler. Captain Pat did his very best to put us on the fish and educate us along the way. We ended up staying out and fishing our full 4 hours and caught 5 fish. We were estatic we didnt get skunked and went home to cook up our delicious barricuda filets later that evening. 10 out of 10 would recommend Fair n Square charters with Captain Pat for your trip. Will not hesitate to use him for repeat trips. He responds very well if you have any questions but make sure the fishingbooker message thread shows correctly because we both had issues with it on the day of. Thanks again Pat for exceeding our expectations and the awesome experience with our family!

  he let us know the day that we scheduled our charter for that. We probably won’t catch anything due to the weather so offered to push back the trip by a day where the weather would be better we showed up. It was nicer than the day before, but we got out to where we were about to anchor made some calls, checked a few things and let us know that people weren’t really catching anything today and offered us a refund and to cancel the trip or we could still try he went ahead and canceled the trip very nice very understanding and it was still a beautiful experience being able to see everything out in the boat and just being on the boat

  Great trip, good company, and an honesty that was refreshing.

  We booked this trip at the last minute. As avid hunters and fishing enthusiasts, we knew the conditions weren’t ideal. A cold front was moving in, and the recent heavy rain had dropped the water temperatures, making for tough fishing. Even with those challenging conditions, our experienced guide went above and beyond. On the way out, he contacted several other guides already on the water to find out which areas were producing fish. Unfortunately, every report coming over the radio was the same—very little fish activity and no promising signs. Instead of wasting our time trolling from spot to spot with little chance of success, our captain was honest with us. Together, we made the decision to call it rather than spend hours chasing fish that simply weren’t there. We really appreciated his professionalism, integrity, and respect for our time. We’d much rather have a guide who is upfront and honest than one who keeps us on the water just to run out the clock. That kind of honesty is hard to find, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again when conditions are better.

  Incredible Experience with Denise Marie Fishing Charters and Captain Pat!

  We had an amazing time with Denise Marie Fishing Charters — and a huge shoutout to Captain Pat, who made the entire experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of our trip. You can really tell he loves what he does. We ended up catching a nice haul of mackerel and bluefish, and Captain Pat recommended taking the fresh catch to Rusty’s next door, where they’ll cook it for you. We followed his advice, and it was absolutely worth it — delicious food, a beautiful view right on the water, and even live music. The perfect way to end the day. Thank you to Denise Marie Fishing Charters and especially Captain Pat for an experience we won’t forget. Highly recommend!

  Thank you so much I really really enjoyed having you guys out I love this time of year cuz you get such nice people out on the boat we always try our best and sometimes it pays off thank you guys so much for fishing with us and I'm very happy you guys enjoyed it and very happy you enjoyed the fish at the restaurant hope to see you again sometime enjoy the rest of your time off down here in Florida thank you guys again. Have a safe trip back to Houston.

  Great day with the grandkids, enjoyed every second fishing with them. Captain Pat was outstanding every step of the way. Caught shark and king fish. Would DEFINITELY use Captain Pat again and again.
