  Morning Trip with Captain Mike

  Offshore May - June ... AM em junho 14, 2023 • 2 adultos

  Mike was awesome! We've done several charters outside of the Florida keys to include South Carolina offshore/near shore and Dominican Republic offshore. BGS was definitely the best thus far! Mike has done his research and got us on the fish all morning long. We landed several varieties of snapper, grouper, grunts, an Atlantic sharpnose shark and a Goliath Grouper! Mike is very personable and began communicating with us shortly after we booked. Mike continued communicating with us as the wind conditions changed and provided the best plan given the circumstances mother nature provided. Also, he was willing to adapt his schedule so we would have the best chance at fish. If your looking for a low key (pun intended), unique fishing experience for two people look no further, Mike is your guy! Thanks Beamer for all the memories!

  First trip excellent 2yrs ago, rebooked another 1/2 day, another excellent trip

  Capt Beamer works hard to find fish. This was our 2nd booking 1/2 day trip. Scheduled day windy so capt recommended date change. We agreed and move date out a few days. Received text the day before suggesting we go offshore to cast for Mahi Mahi, I agreed, this would be a new adventure. Little to no wind, so we boated out. Little to no floating vegetation, so we started back. He found a small line of vegetation so we gave it a whirl. We caught shark, Almaco Jack and got 2 Mahi Mahi. I can see how his vegetation method could catch fish, just Little availability. It was great catching different fish. So next, off we went to the reefs. There we caught snapper, Speckle Hine, Blue line grunt, parrot fish, blue tang, shark. The sun was bright all day and wore us out. Capt Beamer had more spots to try, but us northerners had enough sun and called it a day. Capt Beamer cleaned our fish and bagged them, took photos, provided adult beverages while we hung out for our fish. Capt Beamer keeps clean facilities that we utilized. Overall Capt Beamer provides all around excellent customer service and I highly recommend his service for small parties or singles who want to catch a variety of fish either back country, reef, or even offshore (wind permitting). Oh, and the best thing is my wife (casual fisher) not only caught fish, she caught the largest fish and brought home the cup! Previous trip I received the cup ( her favorite water cup) so she was all smiles that she caught the bigger fish on this trip. Capt Beamer, Thanks again for an excellent trip. Bob and Julie

  Amazing half day charter with Captain Mark

  Amazing. It was a pretty calm day so Capt Mark took us into the Atlantic on his 21’ Mako centre console. We were catching snappers in no time and he kept making slight position changes with the trolling motor to keep the action going. We had just about hit our limit on snappers when a HUGE torpedo shaped fish went after a grunt he brought to the boat. He sprung into action re-rigging to go after it. Long story short he found a way to get that fish on, handed me the rod and it was a 25 min battle. Ended up being a 4’ barracuda. We were using a pretty light rig but he coached me the whole way to land it. A few pics and we let it swim away. A dream come true and regardless of the trophy fish, I honestly enjoyed being out on the water with a knowledgeable and just downright nice fellow. Would rebook next time I’m down there for sure, He cleaned the fish when we got back and pointed us to Keys Fishery, a great place to have it cooked and kids got to see tarpon and sharks there! Thank you so much Capt Mark for an experience of a lifetime!

  Great fishing adventure!

  We told Captain “Beamer” that we want to catch a few eaters and would also like to try for something bigger and just have some fun! We started out looking for something big and after a bit we hooked into a huge King Mackerel. Cpt Beamer did a great job instructing me on the best way to get it in the boat and we landed it successfully! The rest of the day we spent fishing for dinner and landed a good pot of Snappers, along with Blow Fish, Shark, Catfish, and some others that we released back into the water. It was a great morning and we would definitely book with Beamer again! Happy Fishing!

  Awesome Day With Captain Beamer!

  Captain Beamer was 1st class all the way! I did a blind internet search and was hoping for a back country flats trip for my 15 year old son and I. We are somewhat familiar with this type of fishing being from the panhandle of Florida and growing up with this type of fishing. Captain Beamer exceeded our expectations! His hospitality was second to none and I honestly felt like I was fishing with a family member. We were vacationing in Key West and the :40 minute drive to Big Pine Key was well worth it. We brought our catch back to our condo, cooked it and there were only crumbs left. Looking forward to fishing with you again my friend!

Having a father & son on The Boat that get that it's not always about how big or how many fish are caught but how blessed we are to have the opportunity to share the experience and enjoy some of god's creatures at the end of the day with family ... Humbling ...
