Caught fish all day long and Captain Sid kept chasing until we got some keepers into the cooler. Hands down my favorite inshore boat that I have ever been on - plenty of room for 4 dudes fishing, very practical and comfortable layout, got into skinny water, and pretty to boot. He was happy to answer all of our questions all day long and I got the feeling that he would be just as relatable with a bunch of kids on the boat as he was with our bachelor party. On top of all of that Captain Sid did the most thorough job cleaning the fish that I’ve experienced with a guide. It was not a rush job and he wanted to make sure we enjoyed eating as much as we enjoyed catching (and we did!). Will be booking again 100%

We scheduled two full day offshore fishing trips knowing that if the weather did not cooperate we would fish the bays. As luck would have it we had one great day fishing in the bays with my 4 young adult children and one offshore with my husband, brother and sister-in-law. The kids had an amazing day fishing even though it rained most of the time. Captain Sid was really knowledgeable and worked well with my kiddos. They were super impressed with his casting skills. They caught red fish and black drum that we kept (and he cleaned) and many other fun species including sting rays, lady fish, needle nose gar and of course some catfish! The offshore fishing trip the next day was a about an hour and half off shore to a gas rig. The ride out was pretty rough with the waves as a storm had just rolled past but the day turned out perfect! We spent the day fishing our hearts out. We took home 27 fish including red snapper, mangrove snapper, grouper, trigger fish and even a barracuda! We had lots of excitement as several kingfish circled the boat and tried to steal our catches! We even thought we caught a kingfish at one attempt to steal but it sadly got off. We joined in on the cleaning and packaging up the catch at the end of the day. I would 100% book with Sid again and plan to do a fishing trip every time we visit Matagorda in the future.

We took our two grandsons 9 & 5 on an afternoon fishing trip with Captain Sid.  He was wonderful and very patient with the boys & made it an enjoyable experience for all of us.  I highly recommend this trip!

We had a great trip with Capt Sid!  He was so patient with the younger boys and me, having to cast every time!  We caught tons and some nice keepers as well- will definitely use him again!!
