Captain Randy is a retired Police Detective from Colorado. He began fishing Walleye tournaments in 2015 and decided to retire in Wisconsin to chase large trophy Walleye in his backyard. He's been fishing for over 40 years and hopes to share one of the best places in the world to go fishing with you.

Passeio de Salmão • 2 adultosCaptain Randy and his first mate made it happen after our intilal 3am fish time was moved to 5pm due to weather. My son and I lost a few at the boat but hey, thats fishing. Randy is a solid guide and a better man. It was an honor to share in the great conversation and Randy even sent us home with fresh king salmon from his own freezer! Luck wasn’t in our favor but Randy and crew busted their tails to make some happen.

After reading reviews on Big Country Charters we decided to give him a go. And the reviews were spot on, He was very cautious with weather conditions and decided it would ok to go out and give it a try. We were very hyped on that decision and 15 min into the trip we landed a 27 inch walleye which was proceeded by a 26 1/2 one and several others. He was very talkative with great stories exchanged by all of us. I’ve been on other charters before and by- far he tipped them all. Great Job Captain

The mornings and afternoons have been on fire! Many eater sized fish have been put on ice and a large number of bigger fish have been released to swim on! Give us a call to book while the bite is hot!

The last few weeks have been crazy with multiple kings nearing the 30 lb mark and too many walleye and perch to count! We have had many limits of walleye and released a handfull of fish that were over 23 inches. Most pushing 28 and 29 inches.
Give us a call to book before the summer bite is gone!

We have been prepping for the islands to fire off all season! The fish are stacking up around them now and the late summer bite should be on fire! We are starting to book fast for these trips on the website so if you are going to be up in Door County and want to book a trip now is the time.

With fluctuating waters temps, rain, bass tournaments, and floating moss the bite was a bit tough for us this week but we were able to find some nice fish! Walleye were cruising and the bass are shallow. Pike made themselves readily available in several spots. I would not say this week was hot and heavy but it was steady when we found the warmer water. Met several great families and had two groups of father/son. It is always my goal to have a fun trip and I would say we all had a great time. Summer is coming and we are booking fast!
