Fishing right now is absolutely incredible. The numbers of fish being caught or as high as I’ve ever seen. Water temps are running around 75 degrees, and the water color is extremely algae. The fish don’t seem to mind it and are chewing, averaging around 80 fish on a full day trip, and 50 or so on a half day trip. Crankbaits, jigs and worms have been doing the trick.

Averaging 20 to 25 fish a day. Throwing a jerkbait on the outside of the tules and catching some big fish, up to 9 lbs. water is clearing fast (8 ft in some places. Water temps are reaching 62 degree, so have your spinning rods ready the fish should start to transition to the spawn anyday now.

Fishing is pretty tough, averaging 5 to 10 fish each outing. On the flip side, the fish are healthy and big, gorging themselves on shad. Todays biggest 5 fish weighed in at over 35 lbs. It is an excellent time to catch your personal best and a true trophy bass! We also caught 2 large catfish and 8 crappie. The lake is very healthy!

Fishing has been very good lately. Just finished up three days of guiding all half-day trips and managed to catch over 130 bass, 7 catfish, and over a dozen crappie. Fish seem to be very spot oriented, and are in large schools. Fish are around the bait balls and are also spitting up crawdads! Select you baits to match the conditions.
