Good-Sized Mahi and a Blue Marlin Show t

After picking up a few mahi on live bait near a FAD (Fishing Aggregating Device), we headed back toward the harbor to drop off our guest. On the way in, we switched it up — fast trolling at 10 knots with lures. Suddenly, boom — hookup! A fat 100 lb yellowfin smashed the spread, and Mason was loving every second of the fight. A true trophy fish and a moment to remember.

After a slow start to the morning, we managed to land a solid solo wahoo while trolling offshore. Just as we were about to call it a day, I noticed a strong mark on the fishfinder — thought it might be a marlin… but surprise! We hooked into a 100 lb yellowfin tuna in the last 10 minutes. What a way to end the trip — no complaints here! ?

We went offshore for just 30 minutes before running into a hungry pack of mahi. What followed was absolute chaos — nonstop action with double and triple hookups while trolling and chumming. In total, we landed 20 mahi. Pure madness, but we managed to get every single one in the boat!
