After scanning the blue waters, the reels suddenly screamed to life. We hooked into a massive Bigeye Tuna, weighing in at an impressive 160 lbs! The sky was heavily overcast, but with the sea beautifully calm, we just had to head out! The day started on the quiet side, but we knew the fish were further out toward the east side of the island. Knowing that a standard 4-hour charter wouldn't give us enough time to reach the hot spot, we advised our client to extend the trip—and it completely paid off!
