We fished a short two‑hour window last night and went 5 for 7 on kings. Working down the slot into the hole we found some nice fish higher in the water column. Temp break was only about 35 down and the kings wanted spoons on the faster side. Most of the fish coming off short cores 5 & 7 colors. We have openings for July and August. Fishing Report – July 17, 2026 We had a productive evening trip on July 17, finishing 7 for 8 with a solid mix of kings and a bonus lake trout. The bite started in the Low Slot and transitioned toward the South bank as daylight faded - we would say sunset but with the smoke yesterday not much sun. Catch Summary (7/17 PM) 6 Kings (including multiple 10–12 lb fish) 1 Lake Trout Presentations & Depths Wire Divers: 85 ft Riggers: 40–55 ft 2002 Copper: Lures That Produced Blue Jeans Mag (Dreamweaver) – early king Green Slice Mag (Dreamweaver) – two kings Black Screwball Mag (Silver Streak) – 13 lb king Mongolian Beef Mag (Moonshine) – sunset king Let ’Er Eat (Mr. Chrome) – wire diver king Yellow UV Spin‑N‑Glo / 11" Bechhold Slick Glow – lake trout Too rough to fish today but we have openings for Sunday!
