Chasing Bass

Early morning start provided some Big Action. Off top we began trolling and right away the hits started. From Crappies to Hybrid StripedBass the bite was steady. We lost a few and landed a few. Then the drag screamed and the line popped, losing a big fish. Soon after anothe big hit and this time we landed a huge Gar. We released all fish. By 10am the bite slowed down and the sun was blazing. All in all, it was a successful day.

Hit Lake Allatoona early morning expecting to get on lots of fish cause the fishfinder showed fish all over the screen. The bite was extremely slow. We trolled for Crappies and StripedBass with zero hits from 7am to 10am. I hit multiple location trying to hunt down aome fish. Finally, around 10am the fish seemed to turn on. We managed to hook into a total of 13 fish. Landed 5, 1 Crappies and 3 Hybrids and 1 SpottedBass. My cliens understood its fishing, Im use to catching so I was more upset than they were. Until next trip.

We started off in 80+ Degree heat at 7am with water temps in the high 70’s. We hit some key locations with very little intrest from fish. We threw top water and jigs with 2 chases and zero commitments. We switched up and trolled with live bait to end up with (2) solid Spotted Bass. It was extremely tough fishing today as the heat contiued to rise.
