11 keeper walleyes 15 total caught!

The smoke is so bad up here from the wild fighters that are to the north of us that I gave the gentleman an option to cancel. They decided to come up and fish anyway and I’m glad they did because the bite was phenomenal. We ended up with 50 smallmouth on the clicker over 14 inches before we switched to Pike. We did catch one pike but it was a really good fishing day.

This morning’s trip, the customers wanted to catch as many fish as possible and we did just that. We got some dang nice largemouth, some good bluegills, walleye and pike. We have now transitioned into my favorite part of summer, multi species weed line bite!

There’s a fantastic morning on the water with return customers. We caught several fish but as the day went on the post frontal conditions set in. Walleyes, pike and smallies all hit the boat.
