We had a GREAT morning with BIG fish in

This awesome couple pulled in a lot of fish including these Alligator Gar. The first one was swimming around with some one else's rig hanging out of its mouth. We cast over the line and managed to snag the leader with our hook and reel it in. The hook was too deep to remove but we cut the excess line off and released him. Hopefully, he makes it and is able to turn into a real giant! The bigger Alligator Gar was properly caught around the same area with a chunk of Smallmouth Buffalo as bait. He put up a great fight but was overall one of the easiest fish to handle recently. The hook was removed easily and he was returned to the Bayou nice and strong. I have a feeling these two will be back when they return to town.
