Great fishing continue!

Block Island striped bass fishing has picked up to its yearly peak. Bass in the 30 to 50lb class have been abundant every lure has been working if you cast it the fish will eat it.

As the season progresses we are seeing an increase in the number of weakfish, fluke, bass and blues. Team White Water participated in the Billys By the Bay fluke tournament to support locals in need, it was slow for most but were able to catch a good amount of weakfish, handful of fluke, bluefish, and porgys. An abundance of Striped Bass are all along eastern Long Island. Striped bass weighing anywhere from 10 lbs to 50 lbs are feeding on bunker, sandworms, and small bait; They are eating anything and everything. Bluefish have been mixed in with some Striped Bass Schools; An abundance of Large Bluefish can be found in shallow waters finning at the surface.
