Had to work for it, but still managed a decent haul of white bass for a morning charter. Beautiful weather. Captain John is great, and I will certainly use him again on my next time to Lake Livingston. The wife and I had a really great time!

Captain John worked with us, adjusting our trip time to work around some bad weather. And when we got to fishing, we caught fish! Had a great trip!

We had a great day fishing with Captain John. It was projected to be very hot so Captain John suggested we leave an hour early, smart decision. The day turned out to be perfect for fishing. Captain John is a wonderful skipper and guide, great stories and he knows where the fish are. The bite was off the day before, but the day we went, we caught 54 fish in about three hours! Captain John and his wife cleaned and filleted the fish (in record time) and we had an awesome fish fry that evening. It helps that my son is a chef and knows his way around a southern fish fry! All in all, if you want to have a great day on the water, book a day with Captain John and Lake Livingston Texas Fishing.
A cold front came thru the day before, however, the captain still found the fish. Good fishing and great conversation!!

My nephew and I had a memorable time fishing with Captain Bolton yesterday. He arrived on time at the meeting location and we caught a lot of white bass. My nephew later told me that this was the best fishing charter he had ever been on because of the captain's kind demeanor, his unique ability to teach us about important fishing information, and his knowledge and awareness of locating fish in Lake Livingston. Afterwards, he cleaned the fish and packed them in freezer bags! It was all perfect!
