David was an awesome captain! Put us on fish right away and caught fish the whole trip. We’ll definitely book with him next time!!!
Had an amazing time and will absolutely be going again! The captain is fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the fish. Even though it was a tougher time of year and time of day, he knew exactly where to go to put us on the fish and make sure we had a great experience. He did so much more than just put us on fish. He shared interesting information about the different areas we visited, pointed out places of interest, explained fish habits and boat details, and kept the conversation going the entire trip. He really made the experience fun, engaging, and memorable, and kept our spirits high the whole time. If you’re looking for a great fishing trip and so much more, this is the one! And when you go, make sure you ask about banana bread recipes!
David was a phenomenal Captain, and knew all the best fishing spots in the area. My friend and I didn't have a lot of experience fishing, and David did not judge at all and was a great teacher. He made sure everything was user friendly, and anytime one of our lines got snagged on something underwater he was right there ready to get us back in the game with a new rig and plenty of bait. He is someone I would recommend to anyone interested in getting on the water, and I will certainly be calling him again for our next charter.
Right before our trip there was flooding in the area making the water not in the best condition for fishing. The fish weren’t having it but the captain still made it an enjoyable outing while we enjoyed the company of family on the water. The captain was on too of things to make sure we kept bait in the water and moved locations to make the best of the situation. A great guy and a great trip. Thanks for helping us make memories.
My family enjoyed the half day trip with David. Captain David was very helpful and navigated us through the waves rough conditions. He took us to multiple spots where we caught Blue fish and other varieties. We really enjoyed fishing, cruising and seeing the beautiful VA coast.
My son catches his first bull drum measuring about 31 inches in length its unfortunate we are unavail to keep it due to size regulation. we manage to catch hand full of big sizes blue fish. We have a great time. We will rec. Capt david hall for your future fishing trip!
