  Captain Matt delivered exactly what we asked. Great table fare for a family of four and something memorable. He knew where to go to provide it all. This review could go on forever. His personality and hospitality was second to none. We would absolutely recommend Go Topless Charters to anyone. Also as a thirty year boat mechanic his equipment was spot on for a safe trip.

  My husband got sick not the captains fault we were only on the boat about 2 hours.... one fish was caught but to small to keep... so for a bucket list item the trip was disappointing not worth the money we paid.... captain was nice

  Ever since yall booked me in March for todays trip I was looking forward to meeting and showing yall a great time on my boat. After multiple discussions about the possibility of a bad fish bite due to the recent storm we decided to go today. Yes, we had a very challenging bite today. I had a feeling it would be so I brought light tackle, heavy gear, and trolling gear to be able to throw every option out there to find yall some fish. Unfortunately, sea sickness struck Dwayne. If anyone has ever experienced sea sickness, they know it is absolutely miserable. I hated seeing him struggling and I could tell he was willing and trying to tough through it. After 2 hours into our 4 hour trip the decision was made to come in and call our trip short. I completely understand the choice to leave and head in, that being said I had other options and strategies in mind to try in case we weren't able to find fish at the current place we were fishing. As far as the cost of the trip goes, in the past I have given discounts for trips cut early due to weather, family emergencies, and other extenuating circumstances out of my control. When it comes to sea sickness in the right situation I could offer a discount. For this specific trip I could not reasonably warrant a discount for the trip due to having another trip in the afternoon that I had to cancel due to weather that I could have ran this morning in place of your trip. I completely understand that you did not receive the experience that your group wanted. That doesn't sit right with me, I want everyone to enjoy themselves onboard my boat. If you want to give me another shot in the future, I will be very grateful.

  This is by far the best fishing charter I’ve ever booked! Matt owns and crews the “Go Topless” boat himself and provides a family friendly atmosphere and is open an honest when it comes to the trip you want. If the bite isn’t there he will tell you and give you recommendations to get you your moneys worth! I highly recommend him! You won’t regret it! We will definitely be back to book another shark trip or in-shore trip!

  We had a great time fishing with Captain Matt! Not only did he call and check in with us several times, days before our trip, he wanted to make sure we had a great time while we were out in the boat! We caught some fish and enjoyed our time! Very laid-back and easy to get along with! Very curious, even shared his coat with our girl when she got chilly! We had a great time, and we’ll go fishing with Captain Matt again if we make it back this way!
