Ваша экскурсия пройдет на 18-футовом понтонном катере Sun Tracker с местом для четырех взрослых (до шести человек, если трое или более — дети). На нем есть все необходимое для продуктивного дня на воде, а также все требуемое оборудование безопасности и УКВ-радио. На борту есть туалет ковшового типа для вашего удобства, а также круговая ширма для уединения.

Капитан Оуэн предоставит удилища, катушки, наживку, оснастку и исторический обзор мест, где мы будем рыбачить, с историческими фотографиями. Услуга по чистке рыбы доступна — пожалуйста, обсудите это с капитаном перед экскурсией, если интересно.

Перед посадкой на борт необходимо будет купить лицензию на рыбалку в округе Колумбия для всех в вашей группе в возрасте 16-64 лет. Эта информация доступна онлайн на веб-сайте правительства округа Колумбия, или вы можете спросить капитана.

Colossal Experience and Colossal Fish!!!

Summer Half Day Trip (4 hrs) августа 21, 2025 • 2 взрослых

Our fishing trip with Owen on the Potomac could not have been better!!!  We left Georgetown right on time and he expertly guided us to various fishing spots.  He is friendly, and is very knowledgeable about not only fishing but also about the history of the area.   

The boat was safe and clean, and Owen was able to handle all of the fishing rigging, tackle, etc... with ease.

More importantly, we caught very large fish, including a huge 42 lbs. catfish!!!  In the end, we had well more than 10 lbs. of fish fillets to take home.

I definitely recommend Owen for those looking to hook some very large fish in the DC area.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic time on our fishing trip with Captain Owen! From start to finish, he was an incredible guide knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient with us. He made the whole experience fun and relaxing, and we never felt rushed or out of our depth.
One of the highlights was how helpful he was after the trip he cleaned and filleted all of our fish for us, which made it super easy to take them home and enjoy. We learned a lot and made some great memories out on the water. Highly recommend booking with Captain Owen if you're looking for a great charter experience!

Amazing Trip

Our first fishing trip on July 4th with Captain Owen was absolutely amazing! He made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. This trip was so much more than just fishing — Captain Owen went above and beyond. He even brought a picture book filled with historical stories and showed us landmarks along the Potomac River, giving us a glimpse into the past compared to how things look today.

It was a great way to explore the DC area from the water, especially for those who want to avoid the crowds and skip all the walking — such a fun and relaxing alternative!

Our morning trip was also a success — we caught plenty of catfish, with our biggest one weighing in at 14 lbs! We’re already looking forward to our next trip to try and beat that record.

The boat had everything we needed, making it super easy to just focus on fishing and having fun. Highly recommend!

I Highly recommend Capital Blues Fishing Charters!  My son and I took this charter for the first time and from Start to Finish it was Outstanding!  From the Hospitality, Educating us on the History of the area, Teaching fishing Knowledge to us, and of course the fishing experience itself. Captain Owen had us reeling in our personal best catches one after another in no time!  We finished by landing a 33-pounder to close out a Great Day!
Capital Blues Fishing Charter is The Real Deal!  We will Definitely come back to this charter service again!
