    Unanimous consent

We have previously booked trips in 2024 and 25 where we fished along the shore. This trip fishing around the Inlet was preferred by the five people in our party. Notably our Captain Quentin was personable, helpful and everyone thought he did a great job explaining techniques that were used for targeting specific types of fish. We caught some blue fish , some flounders , and two very nice black drum. We likely will be repeat customers!

    3 Black Drum Keepers!

4 retirees with little fishing experience were able to catch 3 Black Drum keepers, plus a trout and a few other fish, in conditions that Captain Kim didnt think we would catch many if any! He knew the spots and changed up from bobber to bottom to lure fishing. The 4 of us had a great time for 3 hours!

    Great fishing trip!!!

We caught about 5-6 Redfish, a black drum and a flounder. The Captain was awesome! He took the tme to show an old dude (who's only been on a small charter one other time in his life!) how to do a little salt water fishing. It was an overcast, cloudy, and very windy day and still caught a few fish. Excellent trip!

    (3/4 Day Inshore Trip)

Bad weather but still good fishing

It was a rough day, captain Bill had to pivot more inshore and we had at least 25 flounder, out of season by 2 days, huge reds and bull reds, some trout and more. My boys were happy. Would recommend captain Bill.

    First Charter Success

This was our very first charter and it didn’t disappoint even with windy conditions. Trae made it fun and took us to the best spots to make it fun. Will definitely book again.

Flounder fishing targets a smart ambush predator that hides on sandy and muddy bottoms. These Flatfish blend into the seabed, then burst up to grab bait. Anglers love them for their firm, tasty fillets and for how hard they pull for their size.

Most Flounder fishing happens in inshore waters such as bays, estuaries, and flats. Drift fishing, where the boat moves with wind or tide, covers ground and finds active fish. Bottom fishing with live minnows, mullet, or shrimp works well. Jigs with soft plastics or bucktails also produce when you bounce them slowly along the bottom.

Trips are usually close to shore and on calmer water, which makes them great for beginners and families. Expect short runs, steady action around moving tides, and subtle bites that feel like a tap or extra weight. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses to spot bottom contours, non-slip shoes, and a small cooler if you plan to keep fish where it is allowed.

Rules for Flounder fishing vary by location and season. Always check local fishing license and permit requirements before you go. Review current seasons, size and bag limits, and method rules, including any restrictions on night fishing or gigging. When in doubt, ask your captain, and practice careful handling if releasing fish.
