First off is the Captain Judah, he kept us on the fish and we loved that!! Whenever things got cold, he didn’t hesitate to pull lines and move to another spot. He didnt want to waste our time fishing in a spot that went dead!!! He was very welcoming and professional with our family and his crew!! He communicated very well about what we’d like to accomplish on our 8hr trip and what his plan would be for that to happen. The boat is very clean and taken care of and the AC cabin was a lifesaver!!

Second was the firstmate/deckhand Kayden and his helper. These guys were the stars of the show for us. They kept the tackle moving, hooks baited and fish taken off hooks. They were constantly switching out gear for the different fish we were going after. With four newbies to fishing and myself an inland fisherman….these guys worked their tails off making it an enjoyable trip.

Overall, we would highly recommend the Stelluna for any fishing charter, especially for families!!! We’d give ten stars if we could!!! Great job Stelluna crew!!!

They should call this the arm spasm, back wrenching, leg shaking fishing bonanza! These guys lived up to and exceeded our expectations!! We were exhausted from catching so many different types of huge fish. A 9 ft lemon shark, 6 ft sand shark, red snapper, Bonita, barracuda, grouper, amber jack.. I mean everything!! Do you yourself a favor and spend the time and money for a good long trip with these guys! Worth every penny!!

Our Family joined the Stelluna and crew for a (6) hour trip while on vacation and had a great fishing trip.  We had young children aboard as well as grandparents and everyone enjoyed the outing.  We caught bait fish, snapper, reef fish, amberjack, tuna, and a Shark!  We released those that we were unable to keep, but brought home plenty of fish to have a local restaurant cook up, even after a dolphin and shark took a few of our catches right off our lines!

We would definitely recommend a trip on the Stelluna as the Captain, crew, and boat all provided a wonderful experience we will all remember.

So my parents (80s) came onboard with them splitting their time between the air-conditioned cabin and the back deck.  Capt Judah and Kaiden helped her both getting on and off the boat.  My generation (3 of 5) split our time between watching from inside the air-conditioned cabin and hands-on fishing.  The youngsters (20s-30s) stayed on the back deck fishing, the ENTIRE time. 

The BEST part was watching my parents beam with pride and joy at the multi-generations on-board.  Mom is in her later years and knows the “end is nigh” so watching her smile and enjoy being with her kids and grandchildren and their spouses is a memory that the kids will remember for a LONG time.  Her grandchildren also enjoyed spending time with their grandparents.

Kaden kept us all baited and taught us how to reel in.  He expertly fileted the fish which we ate the following night.

I would do this trip anytime I am back in Destin.

Captain and crew were super cool. Wanted to do some sharkin and caught a couple - one big one - and a bunch of other fish. Crew cleaned our catch and brought them up to Brotula’s restaurant where they cooked them for lunch. Best time ever. Can’t wait to book again next year.
