I'm Captain Mark, and I've been chasing trophy fish across North and Central America since I was 12 years old and sportfishing for over 50 years. Caught Peacock Bass in Panama; Groupers, Red Snapper, and Tarpon in Florida; Musky, Pike, Walleye, and Smallmouth Bass in Canada; Walleye, Steelhead, and Perch on Lake Erie; as well as Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and King Salmon on Lake Ontario. I bought my 35' Viking Sport Cruiser 4 years ago and have been targeting trophy Walleye and Steelhead across Lake Erie. I want to share my passion for fishing with others, and I particularly enjoy teaching charters.

This trip was for my Grandson - Birthday Present because he loves fishing. This was our first charter. Captain Mark started off by introducing us to him and first mate. Then he showed us the boat and going over safety. Captin Mark and Ken answered all questions and very knowledgeable on where fish were. Unfortunately the waves and my belly were fighting and the waves won. While I couldn't fish anymore Captain Mark made sure my son and grandson limited out on walleye, and also checking to see if I was ok. He also recommended where to get the fish cleaned, he called ahead and they took us in as soon as we got there. If you are looking for a charter I highly recommend Captain Mark and In Between the Lines Sportfishing. You absolutely cannot go wrong.

This is my son and I‘s first wall trip ever on Lake Erie and to say it was flawless would not be doing it justice. We would definitely go with this crew again and plan to very soon. Incredible core memory!

Special 4 hour trip for Michael Sorrento • 1 взрослыйThis was one of, if not the most outstanding fishing excursions ive ever had and I've been on many. Capt Mark and crew handled everything with ease and we were on fish within 10 minutes and cought walleye and steelhead limits in nearly 2 hours. Most definitely recommend and i will be back too.

Рыбалка - Экскурсия на полдняI'm a complete novice that, remembering the fun I had fishing with MY Dad, tried to introduce my kids to fishing. They MIGHT have had fun but it was an exercise in frustration for me as I tried to remember all the important stuff and pass it, like tying knots, untangling line snarls, and setting a hook when getting a bite. Captain Mark's charter fishing was like night and day compared to that. Instead of bobber fishing we were trolling lines, and without his expertise I had no way of knowing if there was a bite on the line or not. He demonstrated and explained his techniques as we proceeded throughout the morning. There was zero stress and all enjoyment as I learned fish behaviors and soaked up all the beautiful lake environment. My husband and daughter, also beginners, had as much fun as I did, if not more. With Captain Mark's guidance we scored some really top notch walleye, one of them qualifying to register as a "Fish Ohio" fish at 28" long. He was equally competent at cleaning them for us too, so every usable part of those fish is now residing in my freezer. What a great introduction to walleye fishing we got from In Between the Lines! I will definitely book Mark the next time I want to fish Lake Erie!

Deep Walleyes and Drum 15 Miles NNE

Ran a trip yesterday with Susan and her family. Went 15 miles NNE out of Mentor Lagoons and set lines in 72’. The wave forecast from Windfinder was 1’ or less, and we had 2-4’ swells with an occasional 5’. We set up with 5 lines on each side, 3 wire, 1 dipsey, and 1 downrigger. Got most off of the dipsey and downriggers as the fish were very deep. Seasickness set in for two of them, and we cut the trip a bit short. Still managed 18 nice walleyes and 2 drum.

Another great catching day on Lake Erie

Our program was Flickers off of the board lines using weighted steel lines, dipsey divers off the stern, and downriggers. All caught fish. A great crew, netting their own fish and resetting lines.

Had a terrific trip today with Al P. and his posse. A repeat trip for them. Handled 45+ fish and kept 31 walleye and a bonus 12.5” Jumbo Perch. What a great crew, and they were netting fish and setting lines by trips end. This same group are booking a fall trip targeting Walleye and Steelhead. I have some availability in July - August - and September. Fish in comfort on my 35’ Viking, the best fishing boat on the Great Lakes.

Fishing is very good out of Mentor - Gra

Ran a four person trip today with Al and his co-workers. Went out to 60' and ran a program of downrigger's, dipsey diver's, and crank baits off of the big boards. I couldn't keep 8 lines in the water as the bite was so fast - fish ranged 17-24'. Got them their limits in three hours and a few bonus fish from the Captain's license. I have availability in October - give me a call or book on line. Fish in comfort on my 35' Viking Sport Cruiser.

Limit Walleye catch for corporate group

Had the pleasure of hosting the folks from Carter Lumber. The 10 person group included folks from Arkansas, Georgia, Canada, and a few other locations. The weather was perfect, and the fishing was fantastic. After we got back to the dock, we treated them to a shore lunch and made arrangement to ship their catches home. What a great group and a shout out to Top Flight Sport Fishing for providing the second boat needed and Brennan's Fish for hosting the shore lunch.

Fishing out of Lorain continues to be exceptional - Six man limit plus four bonus fish from my license - I have availability in June-July-August - fish in comfort on my 35' Viking.
