From the second we stepped aboard, his seasoned background completely set the tone for the day. He has that rare kind of intuition where he just reads the water and knows exactly where the fish are holding, but what really stood out was how much he loves to share that knowledge. Instead of just putting us on fish, he turned the trip into an incredible learning experience—teaching us the nuances of which bait to use at specific depths and why. Beyond his technical mastery, Captain Dan is just genuinely wonderful to spend a day with. He’s incredibly accommodating, relentlessly cheerful, and makes everyone on board feel completely at home, whether you're a seasoned angler or a total beginner. That combination of deep expertise and great energy paid off in a massive way too. In just a tight 5-hour trip, we pulled in a total of 17 fish, landing some gorgeous Salmon and Steelhead. We booked an 8 hour trip and he kept us on the water for the 8 hours. Double D is the boat to fish with. We had a great fishing trip with Captain Dan. Thank you.

We were put on fish within minutes of dropping lines in the water and caught 11 keepers all together. Was an all around great experience and I will recommend him to all of my angler friends and family.
