Even though there was a sudden temperature drop and rain the night before and day of, he still found us a lot of fish. He was very informative and was great at answering questions and teaching along the way. Also we had more people in our group than the boat could fit, so he arranged to have another boat take half our group so we could all fish side by side for the day. Will definitely be calling Steve for all my future trips.

We caught Smallmouth, Largemouth, and even a few Northern Pike. We felt like he was totally committed to us having a great time. At times the fish were not biting Steve still kept us entertained. We learned about Green Lake and the area but we also learned several new fishing techniques and even a better way to tie on my hooks. I would strongly recommend him and look forward to our next trip.

Great guy very friendly look forward to fishing with him again. We had a blast and he had tips and pointers to make the experience better. Absolutely recommend

3/4 Day Trip Weekdays • 3 взрослыхGot on the water early - 5 am - and spent 8 active hours searching for and catching smallmouth bass which we told him we wanted to target. Steve worked hard for 8 hours to put us on fish and we were successful landing over 40 fish. He is knowledgeable and hard-working. He also gave us some good insight into Big Green Lake as we fished it for a couple days after fishing with him. I would highly recommend him.

Small Mouth Adrenaline
3/4 Day Trip Weekdays • 2 взрослыхBooked a six hour trip with Captain Steve and it was an awesome trip. Steve made the trip extremely easy and we had a blast catching smallmouth for the first time along with whatever else came our way. Beautiful day and great trip to take.

Giant Smallmouth Bass are Heating Up!!!

Targeted Species: Smallmouth Bass & Largemouth Bass
Green Lake is just starting to get good again. Now that the colder nights have finally arrived this is now triggering the Late Summer to Early Fall Bite which has been starting to produce some really decent size smallies.
Weed edges have been the key.
Smallmouth Bass: We have been catching several smallies on gravel humps or rocks the size of basketballs have been producing the best catches.
Largemouth Bass: Have been moving into some of the same areas where we are catching the smallmouth bass. Wacky worming and drop-shotting effective along 12-16’ edges. Ned Rigs have also been a very productive bait choice.
Northern Pike: While we have not been specifically targeting northern pike but we have caught several nice 30" pike during the last few weeks during a few guide trips.

Now that the night time temps are starting to drop a little bit the Big Smallmouth Bass are starting to bite again and they are starting to group up. We have been catching several 20 Plus Inch Smallmouth Bass in the last few weeks and the bite is only going to get better. So this summer has been producing alot of great catches. On average we have been catching 20-30 smallmouth bass per trip with several trips around 50 smallmouth bass with several over or close to that 20 Inch size.

Caught over 50 Smallmouth Bass

The weather is finally starting to work in our favor. It was almost glass calm on the lake all day. The clouds where perfect and so was the fishing.
We started at 6am and fished for 8 hours. So today we kept track of every fish that we caught and took lots of pictures and video. We caught over 50 bass, mostly smallmouth bass and 10 largemouth bass, 1 Walleye, I think we had 4 Northern Pike and of course some rock bass.
Most of the fish came in about 3-6 of water on Zman Ned Rigs and also Jerk Baits.

The last fishing guide trip was another amazing trip. My clients caught some great smallmouth bass. With several in the 4lb size range, Water Temp started at 58 and went up to 65 by the end of the trip. Had to move to find clean/clear water.
We fished the 1st spot with nothing so we moved and right away we caught a bonus 22lb carp on soft plastics and only 10lb test line. The fight lasted about 10-15 minutes. We then managed to catch several decent smallmouth bass and largemouth. Total smallmouth bass caught 18 and 6 largemouth bass, several rock bass, 2 Walleye and 1 Northern Pike.
