My Uncle Frank handed me a fishing pole when I was 5 and it grew from there. From ponds and lakes, it grew into fishing the salt water for a variety of species. From Redfish, Snook, and Trout to Grouper, Cobia, and Mangrove Snapper and all that are in between. Snook is one of my favorite fish to catch on the inshore scene. Since I grew up originally wanting to be a professional Bass fisherman but started to love the saltwater and the Snook was like a Bass on steroids and guiding/teaching became a passion, I became a professional fishing guide. When you step on my boat, we will be fishing like we have been fishing buddies for years with a very easy-going 'let's catch fish' atmosphere and we will catch fish. I have been fishing the waters of Tampa / St. Petersburg for over 40 years and over 22yrs as a professional. I am proud to say that in all my years of guiding I have never had a fishless trip. So come aboard the 'Fish Hunter' and lets make some memories.

    We caught too many fish to count and had an amazing time fishing with Captain George! He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made our first sea fishing trip easy and enjoyable. He knew exactly where to find the fish and was always happy to help, making sure everyone had a great experience. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Captain George to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water!

    4 Hour with Captain George

    Had an amazing day on the water with Captain George! We went to several different spots for different varieties of fish and caught and kept fish at every spot. My son landed a slam Snook, Redfish and and trout. Not only that but plenty of snapper in the cooler as well. Boat was great, tackle was great and Captain George was on it all day! Would HIGHLY recommend for an amazing experience

    Jeff, I am glad that you and your son had a great time. We had a solid 4hr bite, and I was glad when Jeffrey landed his snook and achieved his slam!     Captain Hastick is knowledgeable, very attentive and knows where the fish are. He easily worked with three of us keeping hooks baited, casting in difficult situations and keeping us on fish.

    Terrific fishing trip with a terrific captain!

    Captain George put us on the fish right away. George was a great guide. He was set up to fish for several different species. He was extremely patient and helpful, and showed us exactly what to do to successfully land the fish. He filleted our catch so we could take it to the local hook&cook restaurant. Thanks for a great day of fishing.

The bite is on fire !!!

The water temperatures are perfect and the bite is on. Everything is biting snook and redfish are exploding on scaled sardines, large trout have been in good numbers. The mackerel bite has been great with fish up to 27 inches!

Snook, redfish, trout, mackerel, and more have the feed bags on, with all the bait that has moved into the area. Live bait chumming is really getting the fish fired up so come on out and lets go catching!

Large snook and redfish have moved in along with large, specled trout and sheepshead. Using live scaled sardines and sofr plastics, the action has been great. Nice sized sheepshead are eating shrimp and fidler cras while larger reds and snook are chasing down live scaled sardines

The flats and mangroves of the St. Petersburg area have been producing a lot of redfish with some snook and mangrove snapper mixed in. Get in on some of this rod bending action!!!

The Bite is On!!!

Redfish jave showed up good with a mix of snook and mangrove snapper. Hooking these fish from under the mangroves and getting them out can be challenging but this father son duo showed those fish how they roll. They caught redfish, snook and mangrove snapper. It was a great 4hr trip!
