Roosterfish Charter - Playas del Coco

Captain Arnaldo and crew enjoyed a productive 4-hour trip out of Flamingo, landing a Wahoo and a beautiful Mahi-Mahi (Dorado). Great action and excellent conditions on the water.

4-hour trip from Flamingo produced a beautiful Sailfish. Following Costa Rican regulations, the fish remained in the water for photos and video before being safely released.

Today we departed from Playas del Coco on a 5-hour fishing trip with one main goal: catching a roosterfish. We explored several productive areas, including Los Palmales, Los Raspaos, and nearby mangroves, doing everything possible to target this species. Although the roosterfish remained elusive, the day ended on a positive note with the catch of a nice yellowfin tuna.
