Great Redfishing

Incredible morning catching Neuse River Giant Redfish on artificials.

Summer is coming to an end and the cooler water temps are making for some excellent fishing. We are catching plenty of redfish, bluefish, and spanish mackerel, as well as black drum and flounder. We are also starting to see some speckled trout, but the best of that bite is still a month away.

The black drum bite is nothing short of incredible right now. We need relatively light wind out of the north to target them, but when the conditions are right the fishing truly is world class.
