Flat calm day made easy finding the fish.lots of hookups on anchovies at 200 feet. We caught our limit of chinook salmon up to 22 lbs. Released several Chinook as well as several cod up to 15lbs .. The topper to the day was the incredible killer whale show that went on most of the day , with full breaches and aerial acrobats that were breathtaking!!

February 1, 2016~ A great day for winter Chinook salmon fishing. December until March we have opportunities for feeder chinooks ( 8-20lb), halibut, pacific cod, sable fish, crab and prawns. We mostly targeted chinooks, releasing 6 and keeping 2, with a couple long line releases (aka. Lost!), making for an average winter day .... Lots of different cod (lingcod and rock fish) were caught but were released due to theses species being closed for spawning at this time of year. A drop of prawn traps also produced a nice catch of spot prawns!!

Flat calm and warm ! Great day with super people. Lots of nice fish coming in ! Today's biggest was 29.5lb ! This fish jumped 8 times at least three to four feet out of the water making for an amazing fight. Limits of chinooks and a half dozen crabs made for very happy guests!

With the end of June approaching in come the big fish. This 34 lb Chinook was caught on a blue meanie hoochie at 250 feet.
