January fishing trip
Nice boat, friendly Capt but it was just an expensive tourist boat ride. Capt had a one deminsional approach ( top water lures). Fish were down low and not coming up so no action at all. I would suggest fresh bait, down riggers, and the possibility of bottom fishing might have given us a shot at fish.
Hi Mike! Thanks for the review. As we talked about on the boat, unfortunately we are unable to buy live bait at the dock. Which means we have to try to catch the live bait, and that uses up a large portion of a four hour trip. Running lures has always given us the best opportunity to put Fish on the deck on half day charters. I personally want to apologize for the fish not biting, the next day we caught 3 wahoo and a mahi-mahi on the same lures. In addition, bottom fishing is always an option upon request.
