Our guide Trent did a great job putting us right on the fish. We had a great time fly fishing for sockeye and caught our quota in less than two hours. I would highly recommend this company as well as Trent as a guide to anyone looking to catch salmon and have a great time doing it.
Three of us met Capt Alex at a boat launch and we climbed aboard a well-appointed drift boat before dawn. Capt Alex really knows the Kasilof River and also the habits of silver salmon. We limited out on silver salmon after a few hours and also caught and released a large steelhead. The equipment, drift boat, local knowledge and the right technique for silver salmon made for a great morning of fishing.
My wife and I booked Alex on June 22nd. Floated the Kasilof 8 hour trip. Limit on Sockeye hooked a King but did not boat it. We had a super time! Alex is knowledgeable and very personable, his knowledge of the river and fish are on another level. He coached my wife up on technique that she outfished me and she does not normally fish. Awesome time fishing with western wilderness adventures ! Alex and Dallas were extremely knowledgeable and patient . We caught a limit of sockeye and spent some time going after kings. The scenery was amazing, saw some moose and lots of eagles. We are already planning our next trip with Alex!
