I took my son on a trip for his 11th birthday. We both caught the biggest fish we ever had. Mine being a 18 1/2 small mouth bass . I can't wait till the spring to come back and neither can my son. I would recommend this charter to everyone!!! Captian was a great host who was so knowledgeable.
The first guided trip my wife and I have ever taken. Fantastic experience right from the beginning. Booked with Ridge for our anniversary, absolutely the best time on the water. Fishing almost 40 years and I learned new techniques and new favorite baits. Fish from the little ones fought like monsters to the big ones that tried to pull the boat. Ridgeline a Fantastic job putting me on a dream fish. 18 inch smallmouth, best fight with a fish I've ever experienced. Definitely will book again, maybe a chilly spring morning. Give Ridge a chance, if they're biting he'll find them for you to try and catch. Yes, I missed quite a few bites til I got the hang of them. Thank you so much for a great day on the water.

Ridge got us on the fish right away. he had good gear and continuously switched things up to find the hot bait. he kept us in the strike zone with trolling motor and boat effortlessly but we still had to make the cast which we love. coached my 9year old son up on reading the water and making the best cast. the guy is a pro and equally important cool guy to BS with for a half day. highly recommend you wond be let down.

While we were visiting the area for Spring Break we decided to book a river fishing trip. Our first one ever and it completely exceeded our expectations. Captain Ridge was the best! He is very knowledgeable and gave us great tips for catching fish. We caught 14 fish!! We had great conversation while fishing on the river. Ridge put me on fish and I had a great morning of fishing. Caught several Smallmouth and a Striper. He knows the river and where to fish. i would highly recommend him to anyone.

we had the best time with captain ridge - we caught bass on the first cast and the last! ridge was super knowledgeable and patient and we had a great time on his home river. we highly recommend ridge if you’re looking for something fun and outdoorsy to do in the pigeon forge area.
