Miller Fishing Company operates the F/V Big Kahuna in the Pensacola area.
This vessel is all about getting offshore in search of tasty bottom dwellers and big game pelagics worthy of the name. With trips running anywhere from 6 to 24 hours and heading out 20-120 miles and more in order to find the best catch, you know Miller Fishing Charters is serious about getting you on the fish of your dreams.
The vessel you will be using in your deep sea adventure is 36ft Twinvee catamaran. The boat is rock-steady both at speed and at rest thanks to her twin-hull design and can cruise at 30 knots to get you offshore without wasting half your trip. Built in 2008 and fully restored in 2023, she comes ready for battle with the latest tech and equipment.
The boat features GPS and fishfinder to sound out even the deep waters and to help target fast-moving fish, and a livewell bursting with fresh live bait.
To make sure you stand a chance against the biggest and meanest the bay or gulf has to offer, you will be given a range of quality equipment at a variety of test strengths. Depending on your trip and target species, you will have the option to troll, spin, jig, pop, drift and bottom fish. All this with the choice of live bait and lifelike lures.
So whether you are bottom fishing, jigging or trolling artificials for monster fish, you will always have the right gear for the job. Add to this an experienced captain with an awesome boat, and you have yourself the perfect inshore or offshore charter!

Had a great trip with these guys. Put us on a ton of fish in less than ideal conditions. They were friendly and fun guys to spend a day with. Did everything we asked to try on the trip and were very accommodating. We cant wait to take a trip with them to try our hand at a swordfish and some deep water stuff.

The seas was 3 plus tall, 3 seconds apart with some 4-5 footers randomly come through. The boat handled well, it calmed some after about 4 hours. It was fun day, learning some about deep drop techniques while still limited out on snappers. Great day.

Matt and Jon did us a solid job in getting us on the fish and my son was able to pull in a 25lb snapper.
We liked fishing with them so much, we actually went back two days later with another group for four hours and met our limit as well. I would highly recommend these guys.

Weather wasn’t very cooperative first thing but capt. Matt was willing to delay a little so we could still go fishing. Kept us on fish all day long including an almost three hour fight with one. Great trip and captain/crew.
