CAPTION GARY IS A FISH WISPER

Let me say first off my wife and I had a blast we was on fish every min of every hour. We knew nothing about deep sea fishing we love bass fishing back home in Kentucky but found out that it’s very different than deep sea fishing. With captain Gary’s lifelong deep sea fishing experience he turned amateurs into amateurs who caught some massive fish. I texted him when I scheduled this appointment and told him me and my wife has never been and wanted to catch some HOGS and let me tell ya he put us on them. Gary is a respectful down to earth dude I’m very glad we booked this trip.

Most relaxing and nonstop action I have ever been on!

I fish all over the United States from Alaska to Hawaii to the Atlantic and Great Lakes. When I say this Capt knows what he’s doing I mean it! He is such a fun guy to fish with and at the same time is seriously driven to put fish on the deck. This is the most fun I’ve ever had on a charter. I caught more grouper and snapper than I could keep track of. Don’t let the picture of 4 fish fool ya! That was my legal limit. From the first spot to the last I was reeling in fish. Lastly, the Capt was not afraid to burn fuel like many charters, he is willing to make the drive to keep you on fish.

There are some people that do this for the money and then there are a few like me that do it for the experiences, memories, and relationships built along the way.

Outstanding offshore trip with a highly professional captain with a reel passion for fishing

A buddy of mine and I had an incredible offshore fishing experience with Captain Gary. He expertly guided us through several of his fishing spots, consistently putting us in the best spots to find action.
His professionalism and experience was evident from start to finish. Being a licensed captain, he ran a safe and sturdy operation with excellent situational awareness. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary gear to ensure a successful outing. He also keeps a fun and light atmosphere and had us laughing during the trip while still being laser focused on slamming the next catch.
It was clear to us that being a fishing guide isn’t just a job for him but something he truly enjoys. His dedication to the craft combined with a customer-first approach made the experience not only productive but one to remember. Near the end of the trip I mentioned to him that we were hoping to catch an American Red Snapper for my daughter and Japanese side of the family, and I could tell the captain wanted to deliver that for us, and indeed he set us up the bomb. 49.7 mi offshore, on the very last cast, we hooked and landed a keeper just before the trip ended for a buzzer beater, and took home a prized fish for a special meal and an unforgettable moment.
Overall highly professional, safety-conscious, and genuinely passionate about fishing. We are looking forward to our next cross-country trip to Florida to book another trip with the Cap'n

Monster Red Grouper and Red Snapper went to the dinner table! What a fun experience making memories with these two! I so appreciate the review and the memories that we made. You guys were quick learners to the bite and listened to the old captain and for that you enjoyed the rewards. The gulf was so calm I couldn't believe we were 45 miles offshore. Hope you guys look me up again when you get back this way. I truly enjoyed my day with you onboard!

At the last minute we went on Fishing Booker dot com. Weather looked good water was warm. After filtering, off-shore, private, certain fish types, there was probably 50 charters to pick from. Trust me when I tell you we looked at ALL OF THEM!!! We liked what we saw with Clearwater Beach Fishing Charter and it's Captain, Gary Huggins. Added note, we've fished the inner coastal with charters before.
From the moment we yelled down to Gary from the boat ramp till the time we yelled "good bye and see you again friend" we were so totally happy, treated fantastic, and had the best day on the water I truly think you could ever have. Money well spent. Fish caught. ALMOST got a shark at the end. Gary is knowledgable, friendly, and has fun with YOU and YOUR group from start to finish. Bring sunscreen, drinks, and be ready to have fun & catch fish!!! We can't wait to come back and book again with Clearwater Beach Fishing Charter & Captain Gary!!

HEAVY bite and a great day on the Reel Bliss
3/4 Day Trip - BIG FISH! on јун 15, 2025 • 2 adults
Couldn’t have asked for a better Father’s Day out on the water with my pops and the Reel Bliss crew. Captain Gary went above and beyond to put us on fish. He was by far one of the most focused capt scanning for fish and had a very chill and professional demeanor. His deckhand Aiden was great keeping us baited at all times. There was even moments where we were doubled up and him passing over the rod to keep cranking them up. The bite was so hot we couldn’t bait fast enough. We hit limit at our first stop within a half hour. From there we moved onto a little bit deeper waters, aiming for the grouper. Hooked into multiple monster grouper and we were able to put two on the deck and one on ice. Overall, I could not ask for more out of a six hour charter. If you’re looking to get put on good eating fish and have a great time then Captain Gary’s the one! I will certainly be continuing to book offshore charters Captain Gary and Reel Bliss. Thanks again for having us 🤙

Thanks for the review. I had so much fun with you and Mel. Was fishing in same area yesterday and pulled a couple big fish with my hooks in them, I know they were one’s we lost the day before. One was a 33” monster Red Grouper (she’s in the photo below) and the other was a Real heavy AR that had two of my hooks in her! LOL Hope you enjoyed the fish and hold on to those memories you made with POP forever! Till next trip…Capt Gary
