He’s really helpful and explains what you are suppose to do I lost the first two but nailed a spring hatchery chinnook on the 3 try he knows the river like the back of his hand! Definitely recommend will be going out again with him

Captain Herman is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable in his craft, he was instrumental in me being able to land my first Summer Steelhead. If you're wanting to get a 1 on 1 fishing trip from an experienced guide, and learn all you can about fishing for these amazing fish, I highly recommend Captain Herman.

I had a great day with the captain on the Sandy river. Unfortunately we did not catch a fish, but the beautiful scenery and nice company of the captain made it still a great day to remember!

Yes the river was a running pretty high and made some tough fishing. Jesper was great to fish with. Maybe next time it will be better for catching!

Had a great time drift boat fishing for steelhead. I was able to catch a nice one, I would definitely go again. I highly recommend it to anyone especially those who like me work a lot, and would love a chance to catch some awesome fish!

Great sunny day on the water. Capt worked very hard with a high flow. Caught a beautiful native steelhead. The Sandy is a wonderful stretch of water with quality holes. Learned a new drift technique. Totally recommend.
