Ohana Yachts – Iwa Kai 

The crew was amazing! Great communication from Captain Andy before our trip to let us know we needed licenses and other details. The entire crew were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Our family had a great out at sea. The boat was nice. The cabin area was air conditioned. There was a kitchen with a stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. Assorted non alcoholic drinks were available but no bottled water. We went out for a full day and caught 1 fish. The crew gutted the fish and put it on ice at sea. We didn’t know what to expect when we got back to dock…on other fishing trips we’ve been on in the past, the crew filleted the fish for us and put it into bags for us to take home and cook. They didn’t offer to fillet it for us so we let them keep the fish. All in all a great day with family. Thank you Captain Andy, Anna, and man from Brazil (so very sorry I can’t remember your name🤦‍♀️)! Seas the day!

This was a great trip - Captain Andy, Sam and Anna were a terrific crew that provided a lot of education and great stories along the way and between the fish. Plus they were able to find the recently elusive Mahi Mahi, quite a feat and we didn't have to eat pizza that night! The boat was great - big, plenty of comfort for a full day and well equipped. This was a great trip and we would definitely do it again.

Jerry who was our fishing specialist was awesome. He was friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable and made the trip fun even without catching any fish. Anna was very nice and very friendly, she made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Both of these people were the reason our trip was great. The female captain wasn't very friendly and seemed high the entire trip, she was about to fall asleep while bringing the vessel out of the marina and wouldn't slow the boat down to help Jerry or with fishing because she said we were running late. She was the only reason for any of our negative thoughts on the trip. The yatch is extremely nice and had plenty of room for seven adults.

Our deep sea fishing experience was memorable thanks to an outstanding crew. They were professional, friendly, and extremely attentive throughout the trip. Despite a few unfortunate circumstances that were out of anyone’s control, the crew handled everything with grace and ensured we still had a fun and comfortable experience. Their positive attitude really made all the difference. Highly recommend!

After rescheduling several times due to the Kona Low, we were finally able to get out on the water and had an amazing time fishing with Captain Andy and his crew! We had three generations of our family on the trip and everyone had a great time. We had seven people and there was plenty of room for everyone on the boat. I can't wait to fish with them again!
